This forest activity is very simple, but can be an excellent sensory learning experience for you and your child.
Materials:
- Double sided sticky tape
- Card stock (any color)
- Pieces of the forest! (seeds, leaves, pine cones, pieces of bark, etc.)
Place one or two pieces of double sided sticky tape onto a piece of card stock. Collect pieces of the forest to decorate the card and create your very own ‘photograph’ of nature. Explore textures, shapes, and colors with your child. This is a great opportunity to teach your child about what animals eat, why trees lose their leaves, etc. Feel free to get creative!
A big thanks to Penny Alexander at Wayfair Blog for the craft idea.
