Nature Discovery Camps Ages: 4-16

Treat your child to a summer they’ll never forget with ALNC’s summer camps where young adventure-seekers can canoe Wisconsin’s waters, budding scientists can discover pond critters, and future archaeologists can unearth ancient artifacts on a dig site! ALNC’s action-packed summer camps will provide your child with exciting, hands-on experiences to explore, learn, and enjoy the wonders of nature. Bethel Horizons

Youth Programs Grades: 2-11

Summer Camps are the cornerstone of Horizons’ Ministry. Our camps run Sunday-Friday from mid-June through mid-August. Our camps are open to all youth in 2nd-11th grades. Cave of the Mounds

Camp Brigham Ages: 7-12

Camp Brigham is a science and nature focused day camp located at Cave of the Mounds National Natural Landmark and Brigham Farm in beautiful Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. Campers participate in themed activities all around the grounds including our historic Barn Discovery Center, Interpretive Nature Trails, and the underground cave environment. Summer camp will not be offered 2022, but the cave is open to the public & family-friendly activities are available!


Troy Farm Camp Ages: 7-11

Get Rooted with us this summer at Troy Farm Summer Camp! This day camp is 100% outdoors and will feature daily adventures in the tall-grass prairie, hands-on chicken care, outdoor art projects, gardening, and of course, farm-to-table cooking. Whether your child is a future foodie, a budding artist, or a plant lover, we are sure to have many exciting experiences exploring and learning together this summer! Check back later!

Henry Vilas Zoo

Summer Zoo School Ages: 4-13

Come and spend the summer at one or more of our week-long inquiry-focused Summer Zoo Camps! Campers enjoy special animal experiences and behind-the-scenes opportunities while facing scientific challenges that put the campers in the shoes of keepers, vets, or zoo administrators. Madison Children’s Museum

Summer Camps Grades: 1-6

Madison Children’s Museum’s summer day camps are the perfect combination of fun and learning! All camps are designed by the museum’s education team of skilled educators and child development experts, incorporating the museum’s philosophy of “learn through play.” Scholarships available. Summer camps will not be offered in 2022, but the museum is open to the public and can be reserved for groups!

Madison Schools & Community Recreation

Camp Tall Oaks Grades: 1-5

Camp Tall Oaks is your go to camp for exploring the outdoors at the Madison School Forest! Camps combine outdoor leadership, environmental education and outdoor recreation activities designed to foster camper relationships with themselves, each other and nature. Each week’s theme highlights different activities and campers are encouraged to sign-up for themes that spark their curiosity! No previous experience in any activity is required. 2022 REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 14

Upham Woods

4H Camps Ages: varied

Upham Woods will bring exploration, discovery, and fun to your summer. We partner with 4-H county programs for summer camp and we offer unique outdoor learning experiences through grants and our other partnerships. Upham Woods supports 4-H summer camp for dozens of counties. See if yours comes to Upham! Open enrollment summer camp will not be offered in 2022, see the options available for 4-H programs!

UW Arboretum

Earth Focus Day Camp Grades: K-8

Earth Focus Day Camp helps children ages 5 to 14 develop an understanding of how ecosystems work, nurtures a sense of wonder for nature, and guides children as they explore the habitats, plants, and animals of the Arboretum. Our naturalists are enthusiastic and experienced, but the real teacher is our most treasured resource: the land. Join us to learn, grow, and be a part of this special place. 2022 REGISTRATION OPEN

Welty Environmental Center

Big Hill Adventure Camp Ages: 6-12

Welty Environmental Center is back for the 2022 summer camp season! We will be investigating, exploring, building, experimenting, and crafting while learning about natural resources around the Stateline area. We will spend most of our time outdoors in Big Hill Park, but be ready to take trips to nearby places such as Krueger Pool, Colored Sands Forest Preserve, Rotary Botanical Gardens, and many more! 2022 REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 21
