Curious about the natural world? Looking for something to do on the weekend? Come out to the Welty Environmental Center. We will have short themed activities and other hands-on adventures for you to explore. All you need to bring is your sense of adventure.

Schedule 12:00pm to 4:00pm – Each weekend will feature a different book at our 1:00pm story time and fun activities for ages 5 to 12, but all are welcome! Our primary focus will be on weather and climate to complement the national traveling climate change exhibit Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes that we are hosting this fall.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. You may not drop children off.

October 22 & 23 – Insect Rubbings
On 10/23 is our information event “Sustainable Action Through a Beloit Lens.” Caregivers are invited to attend, while their children enjoy these activities.

These events are free. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

There is no registration for these events. Stop on by during listed hours. Please check the above schedule as some times may vary.
