UW-Madison Lakeshore Nature Preserve Volunteer Opportunity

FreeJoin other volunteers in ecological restoration activities in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve on the UW-Madison campus. Activities vary and include removing invasive plants, planting native plants, collecting native seed, and maintaining trails. Tools and gloves provided. Dress to work outdoors. Long pants and closed-toe shoes required. Work is conducted off-trail on uneven ground. Groups and minors require advance notice. Cancelled in case of steady precipitation or severe weather–high winds, thunder/lightning.
