Learn how atmospheric ingredients such as instability, wind shear, atmospheric capping and vorticity – all of which will be clearly defined – come together to build the sorts of storms that go on to produce tornados, hail, and strong straight-line winds. Understanding the Atmosphere: How it Works is suggested but not required.
