What’s more romantic than a winter stroll through a beautiful prairie-scape? With candles of course! Show yourself some love and join us for a hike through Big Hill’s prairie during this season of love. Bundle up and bring a travel mug to fill up with hot cocoa or trail mix for sale, courtesy of the Leadership Development Academy!

The hike will cover 1 to 2 miles and is appropriate for all ages. Please let us know if you have concerns about accessibility. Most trails around Big Hill Park are easily to moderately traversable. The prairie loop will be lit with candles to guide you.

This hike is self-guided; however, staff will be available for any questions/concerns. Please note that winter nights in Wisconsin will be cold, so make sure to wear proper clothing. We suggest layering up!

Please register so we can get a head count. The event is free, but donations will be appreciated for the LDA’s fundraiser. Proceeds go to renewing our West Wing program space.
