Restoration Workdays at Donald County Park
November 23 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Enjoy the outdoors, learn about the natural world and forge new friendships by joining the Friends of Donald Park on a restoration workday. This fall and winter we will continue our efforts to maintain and expand the park’s prairie and oak savanna landscapes. We work in teams and no experience is necessary. Meeting location: Hitchcock Farmstead. What to wear: Old clothes, sturdy shoes and garden or leather gloves if you have them. (We have some to lend out.) What to bring: Please bring water. We will provide tools and cookies at break time. If you can join us, please RSVP to the work party leader, Liz McBride at elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net or (608) 698-2753 by the Friday before the workday so that we have enough tools on hand and in case of cancellation.
