Prairie Work Days at the Prairie Learning Center

An event every week that begins at 9:00 AM on Friday, repeating until October 14, 2022
Where: Native plant gardens & prairie restorations in the Prairie Learning Center, centered at the Heritage Center.
Dates: every Friday – please visit friendsofcapitalsprings.org/events to check if the work day had to be canceled.
Signup: No signup is necessary. Ages 15 and older are welcome.
Facilities & Equipment: Parking and restrooms are available on site. Please bring your own drinking water and work gloves. All other tools are provided.
Tasks: Prairie stewardship includes planting prairie plugs, watering and weeding in work areas. No gardening skills are needed! Water and restrooms are available on-site.
Inclement Weather Policy: Cancelled work days are posted at friendsofcapitalsprings.org/events by 8am every Friday.
