Prairie Moraine Friends and volunteers have extended their restoration efforts into a previously un-managed 12 acre pine forest addition of the park!

In order to add this site to the park’s off-leash dog exercise area, they need help cutting invasive trees and shrubs, building brush piles, and burning the piles (once snow is on the ground). They plan to start at 9am and end a bit before 12pm. Meet at the tool shed area just south of the park’s main parking lot. The work sites are easily accessible from this area.
