Come to a free hike with a Dane County Staff member. This program’s goal is to get our youngest explorers comfortable in and enjoying the outdoors. Our path will be about 0.5 mile. The path is flat, grassy terrain that may not be suitable for a stroller.  Viking Park provides a great view of the Yahara River and other water inlets to explore what’s been living outside this winter. The walk will occur even if there is snow on the ground, feel free to bundle up and be ready to make snow balls or snow people!

Come have fun with other families and get in a short hike with your littles.
