Come for a collaborative week for people interested in fiber art. All beginners welcome!! This week will offer you daily demos and mini workshops, a creative space to work and collaboration with other artists all on 550 beautiful acres with all your meals provided and a chance for respite and retreat. Improve your knitting skills, make a rag rug on one of our looms, try spinning on a drop spindle or Ashford spinning wheel and learn the basics of eco dying paper, fabric and wool with plants from our “dyer’s garden”. The workshop fee includes all meals, lodging at the Art Ventures Retreat Center, all materials for the demonstrations and use of equipment. We encourage you to bring your needles, yarn, wool, spinning wheels and rags for rug making.
