Join the Friends of Schumacher Farm for Farm Explorers this winter! On Waunakee School District’s days off school, join us for a winter story, craft, and guided nature hike. You’ll end it all with roasting marshmallows on the bonfire in the historic farmyard. Activities will take place indoors and outdoors, so please plan to dress accordingly. Activities are geared toward ages 4-8 with an adult, but children of all ages and abilities are welcome! Winter Luminaries: Monday, January 17th 9 – 11 am Animals in Winter: Friday, February 28th 9 – 11 am All About Owls: Friday, March 21st 9 – 11 am Cost: $12 for Waunakee residents, $17 for non-residents Registration is facilitated through the Waunakee Village Center’s website, but we are committed to reaching and welcoming people from other communities beyond Waunakee. For non-residents, please contact us about offsetting additional registration costs if interested.
