Connect, Explore, and Engage Pre-Service Teachers in Place-based Learning
June 11, 2018 - June 12, 2018
Join teacher educators from across the state for a workshop to help us all deepen our practice related to place-based environmental education. We’ll develop activities aligned to the new environmental literacy and sustainability standards—these activities will be shared with others and for you to use in your own courses. It is intended that this workshop will give you time and space to plan ahead for the next academic year.
In addition, attendees will become certified facilitators for teaching Project WILD, WET, and Learning Tree—something you can use immediately in your classes.
