Eugenia Beecher, a master gardener, member of the westside garden club, and coordinator of the Theresa Terrace Community Center gardening program, will give a workshop on concepts and suggestions for interplanting vegetable crops. Following the workshop, attendees can help in the garden, planting companion plants in community plots, weeding paths, and caring for compost piles. Spanish interpretation will be provided.

The Hammersley Park Commuinty Garden is one of many community gardens supported by Rooted Staff through our Gardens Network team. The Gardens Network is a collaborative project of Rooted, UW-Madison Extension Dane County, and the City of Madison.
