Join us for our Conservation Awareness Day all about big cats!
Come celebrate with us on Saturday, May 14th to learn about our African lions and Amur tiger, and learn more about how keepers take care of these animals here at the zoo!
SCHEDULE:
10am – Amur Tiger Enrichment
10:15am – African Lion Enrichment
Noon – Keeper Chat (lion exhibit)
10am – 2pm – Conservation Pledge
10am – 2pm Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt
We will also have story time every half hour between 10:30am – 1:30pm.
Limited lion art will be available for purchase with proceeds going to support Lion Landscapes. Every year, Henry Vilas Zoo hosts several Conservation Awareness Days. Our Conservation Days help bring awareness and raise funds for wildlife conservation. Our goal is to educate our communities on why conservation matters.
