Participants in this workshop will receive professional development in Project Learning Tree’s new Carbon & Climate online curriculum for 6th-8th grade. This curriculum e-unit is everything you expect from PLT: Hands-on, engaging activities that help teach students how – not what – to think about the environment and their place within it. Carbon & Climate is constructed around the Next Generation Science Standards, aligned with Common Core and the C3 Framework, and organized in a 5E instructional model. This cutting-edge teaching and learning tool will help you integrate hands-on, student-centered experiences into your curriculum.
