This free event begins with a hour-long presentation by David Bendlin. He and his wife Barbara are avid gardeners with years of experience gardening with the climate and soils of this area; David will describe a variety of native and nonnative annual and perennial plants that they have found to be the best plants for attracting bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.
After a short break for refreshments, the annual business meeting for the Rock County Conservationists will begin. Folks who are interested in learning more about RCC or joining the organization are welcome to stay for the annual meeting.
