Celebrate Beloit Heritage Days with Welty!

Park hours, sunup to sundown
Come to Big Hill Park for a hike up and down the hill, and dig into history with interpretive signage featuring information about the park (it’s almost 100 years old).

Then visit Big Hill Center, and learn how climate is changing and how it’s affecting people’s lives in the Stateline, around the country, and around the world. Starting September 6 through November 22, Welty Environmental Center is hosting the interactive exhibit: Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes.
From 12- 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, we will also have the program room open for kids and their parents to learn about weather and climate. We will read a story (at 1pm) and have activities related to the theme of Cloud Cover and Identification for ages 5-12 yrs. All are welcome, and parents must stay with their children.
