An event every month that begins at 12:00 PM on day First of the month, repeating until June 4, 2022
Join Friends of Stewart Lake during their “goat squad” workday as they continue restoration work on a remnant prairie on the hillsides of Stewart Lake. Volunteer to help remove invasive brush crowding out oak trees, and create brush piles to be burned this winter.
Work will be slower and more methodical to thoroughly remove and treat woody invasives and maintain the high-quality nature of this precious ecological site.
